Transportation to the Arenales

To get to the highlands we have transportation by van (pick up) SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS

Walk to the viewpoint or see the sunrise of 3 km

You reach a point from where you can see the valleys under the Pico de Orizaba, however we do NOT have a view of the volcano from there unless it is the bowls.

Hike to the Arenales

There are 12 km in total and it reaches the base of the volcano, from there it can be seen in all its splendor.

Night walk

You arrive at the cave of China, departure at 6 pm

Cost:
$50 MXN per person

Walk at 4200 msnm

With a duration of 3 or 4 hours, it is suggested to leave at dawn

Walk through the forest

With a duration of 1 hour
